Project Description
IRIS completed the design, build and commissioning of a new laboratory. The client had the shell of a building and a design brief for the laboratory and services they required in the shell.
Challenges
There was a great deal of specialist ventilation that was required in the lab, including fume cupboards, dispensing booths and a dust extract system. With a limited size plant deck, and limited ceiling space, Iris carried out 3D modelling of the new installation to ensure that the new installation worked with the existing structure.
