Company History

IRIS has been providing industrial support project and service solutions to the most complex and demanding industries since 2005. The company was formed by a group of like-minded engineers who wanted to offer a tailored ‘Single Source Solution’ that would be based on an open and honest partnership.

IRIS has grown to around 120 employees today, with turnover last year in excess of £9m. Our clients range from blue chip companies to start-up businesses. The vast majority of our clients are repeat clients; we have developed long-standing relationships with them in successfully executing project after project, or through long-standing renewed maintenance agreements.

An MBA and Engineering degree qualified with strong background in Electrical/Electronics and Instrumentation/Controls, Mike brings a wealth of expertise in managing complex design projects in the form of consultancy.

A Chartered Engineer, working both domestically and internationally, Neil has engineered, constructed, and commissioned complex installations across a number of sectors, including pharmaceutical, consumer goods, healthcare, and educational facilities.

In the course of executing these projects, Neil has managed many diverse, multidisciplinary teams while ensuring that the projects are delivered on time, at the requisite quality, within budget, to the satisfaction of the different stakeholders.

With an Engineering degree and a Master’s in Business Leadership, Steve brings a wealth of experience in strategy formulation and implementation – consistently developing successful business partnership relationships that operate with trust and confidence at the highest levels. Steve has overseen significant operational challenges around the TUPE transfer of service teams, change management and the mobilizing of site based and mobile work teams across the UK. His successes have been built around people & organizational development, innovation and strong customer focus.
